fovus storage copy

fovus storage copy

Copy one or more files or folders within Fovus Storage.

Each SOURCE must be a file or folder under your own Fovus Storage or a shared folder. DESTINATION must be a folder path under Fovus Storage’s own files/ directory.

Copying from a job’s storage or a specific pipeline run is not currently supported.

Accepted SOURCE forms:

b - A bare relative path under your own Fovus Storage, e.g. “examples/file.txt”. - A full own-storage path, e.g. “/fovus-storage/files/examples/file.txt”. - A shared file or folder path copied from the web UI, e.g.

“/fovus-storage/shared/ACCESS_TOKEN/PATH/TO/FILE_OR_FOLDER”.

The following SOURCE forms are recognized but currently rejected for copy:

b - “/fovus-storage/jobs/JOB_ID/PATH/TO/FILE_OR_FOLDER” (a job’s storage). - “/fovus-storage/pipelines/PATH/TO/FILE_OR_FOLDER” (a specific pipeline run).

A trailing “/” on a SOURCE marks it as a folder, which is copied recursively. Omitting the trailing “/” targets a single file; if no file exists at that exact key, there is nothing to copy and the operation will appear to copy nothing.

If an object already exists at the resolved destination path, it is overwritten (last write wins) and this cannot be undone.
