fovus storage move¶
fovus storage move¶
Move one or more files or folders within Fovus Storage.
Each SOURCE must be a file or folder under Fovus Storage’s own files/ directory. DESTINATION must be a folder path under Fovus Storage’s own files/ directory.
Accepted SOURCE forms:
b - A bare relative path under your own Fovus Storage, e.g. “examples/file.txt”. - A full own-storage path, e.g. “/fovus-storage/files/examples/file.txt”.
Sources from a job’s storage (“/fovus-storage/jobs/JOB_ID/…”), a specific pipeline run (“/fovus-storage/pipelines/…”), or a shared folder are always rejected for move.
A trailing “/” on a SOURCE marks it as a folder, which is moved recursively. Omitting the trailing “/” targets a single file; if no file exists at that exact key, there is nothing to move and the operation will appear to move nothing.
If an object already exists at the resolved destination path, it is overwritten (last write wins) and this cannot be undone.
