fovus storage list

fovus storage list

List files and folders as a formatted JSON array.

Without FOVUS_PATH, list My Files in the selected workspace. Accept relative My Files paths or full paths under /fovus-storage/files/, /fovus-storage/pipelines/, and /fovus-storage/shared/.

A trailing slash selects a folder. Otherwise an exact file takes precedence. Shared discovery flags accept neither FOVUS_PATH nor –recursive.

Examples:

| fovus storage list
| fovus storage list "examples/" --recursive
| fovus storage list "examples/input.txt"
| fovus storage list --shared-with-me
| fovus storage list --shared-with-workspace

Usage

fovus storage list [OPTIONS] [FOVUS_PATH]

Options

--recursive

List all files and folders below the selected folder.

--shared-with-me

Find files and folders shared with you.

--shared-with-workspace

Find files and folders shared with the selected workspace.

Arguments

FOVUS_PATH

Optional argument

Paths and output

With no path, the command lists My Files in the selected workspace. Relative paths select My Files; full paths may start with /fovus-storage/files/, /fovus-storage/pipelines/, or /fovus-storage/shared/. The existing /fovus_storage alias and Git Bash path forms are also supported.

By default, only immediate files and subfolders are returned. --recursive includes all descendant files and folders. An exact file takes precedence over a same-named folder unless the path ends with /.

Successful output is one indented JSON array followed by a newline, or [] when empty. Entries contain name, relativePath, type, size in bytes, and lastModified as an ISO 8601 UTC timestamp. Folder names and paths end with /; folder sizes, folder timestamps, and unavailable metadata are null. Folders sort first, then entries sort by relative path.

--shared-with-me and --shared-with-workspace discover shared roots and add ownerUsername and a complete reusable fovusPath to each entry. Use the returned path directly with this command or fovus storage download. The two discovery flags are mutually exclusive and accept neither a path nor --recursive. Shared discovery uses the backend’s existing single-page catalog response and cannot detect or fetch an omitted database page.

Errors and diagnostics go to stderr, with no partial JSON result. Invalid arguments exit with status 2, missing authentication with status 3, and other runtime failures with status 1.
